Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star launches on September 20, 2016. Still, given the return of classic space combat and Battlefront's new single-player mode, perhaps the Force actually will be with this game once again. Of course, the real question is whether said gameplay will hold up at launch, considering Battlefront itself didn't exactly have much staying power. When finished printing the interior I kept some of the support behind on the print because, lets face it, the Death Star was under construction and leaving the support in. I printed the Death Star files at 20 scale and the Stand at 100 scale. The Death Star can launch a planet-destroying laser beam I made an control center to fire the Superlaser. After that, I decorated the outer shell and added more inner parts. Creating the sphere using commands took around 2 hours. So I tried out some stuff and came up with this. I started with an inner column and then made a sphere around it. Everything from (finally) unveiling space combat, to Chewbacca's arrival, to the Trench battle is a strong reminder of why everyone was so excited to see Battlefront return in the first place. Ive found a lot of printable designs, but the nicest needed to be paid for. Hearing about the Battle Station mode was exciting enough, but watching it unfold absolutely stirs emotions in the hearts of long-time fans. The final phase heads to the Death Star trench, where Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader race towards a climatic conflict.
